Pistachios grow in semi-arid climates and require minimal irrigation.

Harvesting & Processing

• Harvesting: The nuts are mechanically shaken from trees.

• Drying: Moisture is reduced to 6% to prevent spoilage.

• Shelling (Optional): Some pistachios are sold in-shell, while others are shelled.

• Roasting & Flavoring: Some nuts are roasted and salted.

Packaging for Export

• 25kg vacuum-sealed bags

• 50lb (22.68kg) cartons

Container Capacity

• 20ft container: 10-12MT

• 40ft container: 22-24MT

End Market Uses

• Snack Industry: Consumed roasted, salted, or raw.

• Confectionery: Used in baklava, chocolates, and ice cream.

• Gourmet Cooking: Used in sauces and desserts.
